A check raise I think loses alot of 3锔忊儯 value as well if you're ahead or will hurt alot more if you're behind and end up paying him off. 3锔忊儯 Remember, you only have top pair, no need to play a big pot here. I would again check the turn. 3锔忊儯 If he is pounding the pot than I would be reluctant to go crazy and just call. If his bet 3锔忊儯 is small enough compared to the pot, a check raise to take it down is something I would strongly consider. 3锔忊儯 If he checks behind on the turn, than you know you are good and hope for a safe river. If 3锔忊儯 you think he has something to call with, make a value bet, if not, check again and hope he bluffs 3锔忊儯 with nothing. But this is all a hypothetical situation.
We know nothing about the opponent other than he is aggressive. We 3锔忊儯 don't know if he is TAG or just reckless. We don't know the history between the two players. We don't 3锔忊儯 know bet sizing or reads. Is the guy steaming? Is he drunk? Did he announce this was his last round 3锔忊儯 before he had to go? An other important variable is our own table image. If I am the tightest guy 3锔忊儯 at the table, he is likely not triple barrel bluffing me but very well could if I myself am LAG. 3锔忊儯 There are too many variables in every single hand to have the right answer unless you are in the hand 3锔忊儯 yourself.
