Under the four-year agreement, the stadium will be known as Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova. The stadium expects to 🧲 generate R$13m (£2.1m/€2.4m/$2.6m) a year in commercial revenue over the course of the four-year deal.
The venue had been sponsored by 🧲 beer brand Itaipava since it opened in 2013. Itaipava will continue to sell its products at the stadium but will 🧲 no longer hold naming rights.
Arena Fonte Nova has a capacity of 47,000 and was used as a host venue during 🧲 the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Casa de Apostas has an existing relationship with Bahia having served as the club’s 🧲 main shirt sponsor from 2024 to 2024. It was replaced by rival betting company Esportes da Sorte at the start 🧲 of last year.
Casa de Apostas also sponsors other Brazilian clubs, including Botafogo and Cruzeiro.
